Here at Amplify Graphics & Branding, we wholeheartedly believe in the importance of the community outreach. It helps us give back to the community that has allowed us to thrive. Over the past year, we have been working hard to find a way to use our strengths to help others in the same way, and we think we are onto something! Amplify Graphics has developed a Community Outreach Program in our company. As a small, family-owned business, we understand the importance of leaning on family, friends, and the community for support. Going forward, we want to be an additional tool or “shoulder” if-you-will, for the community to lean back on us.
It is a firm belief here that Actions Speak Louder Than Words, so we have acted! Our first step in this program, is offering Student Internships to local high school students. Education is a big key in successfully implementing change and helping bridge gaps by connecting individuals with the knowledge, resources, and skills to not only help them and their futures, but for them to pass what they have learned onto others.
As a kickoff to this program, and our first step on our Community Outreach Development, we hosted a group of high school students at our office for a Lunch & Learn! Which means we want to give a big THANK YOU to Carmen High School of Science & Technology! Last Monday, we spent the afternoon eating and getting to know some AMAZING young people and hear about their goals and aspirations. It was also a great way to show them what we are all about here at Amplify and give some insight to our industry and what it is we do. They even got to see some of the in-house printing action and choose their own designs to print! Oh yeah, there were some sparks behind those eyes.
This is only the beginning. 😊 Here is to a future of learning and growing together!
