Custom-printed wall murals, brand graphics, dimensional letters, and full-wall installations — designed and installed across Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, Minneapolis, Green Bay, and the broader Midwest by Amplify Graphics & Branding. Painted brick, CMU block, drywall, glass, ceilings, columns — we have installed on all of it. 30+ years from one Milwaukee shop, with our own design team, large-format presses, and install crew.
A great wall mural turns a transactional room into a memorable one. It says what your brand stands for in five seconds. It gives recruits, customers, students, and patients something to talk about and photograph. Done correctly, it lasts 7-15 years, comes off cleanly when you want it to, and costs a fraction of permanent architectural finishes.

What “Custom Wall Graphics” Actually Means at Amplify
We use the term broadly because customers do — and because the underlying product is the same regardless of the name on the page. “Custom murals,” “wall graphics,” “brand walls,” “interior graphics,” “wall vinyl,” “commercial wall printing,” “wall decals” — they all describe what we do: large-format printing on commercial-grade vinyl, applied to a wall by professional installers. The differences are in scale, surface, and intent.
- Full-wall murals — image or design covering an entire wall, floor-to-ceiling.
- Accent walls — a single feature wall in an open space.
- Repeating brand patterns — modular graphics that scale across multiple walls or rooms.
- Logo and lettering applications — vinyl-cut or printed-and-cut brand marks for any wall.
- Photo-quality storytelling walls — historical timelines, donor walls, recruiting installations.
- Dimensional plus printed combinations — printed wall background with raised acrylic, CNC-routed letters, or laser-cut accents in front.
Materials We Use
We work primarily in 3M and Avery Dennison commercial-grade vinyl, selected per surface:
- Smooth drywall: high-tack adhesive vinyl with a satin or matte finish.
- Painted brick and CMU block: textured-surface vinyl with conformable adhesive engineered for grout lines and irregular surfaces.
- Glass and acrylic: clear or backed printed vinyl, often combined with window film for layered effects.
- Removable and reusable: lower-tack adhesives for short-term, leased, or temporary installs that need to come off cleanly.
- Wall covering: HP Matte Type 2 wall covering for a more “wallpaper” feel with full custom printing.
- Acoustic panels: custom-printed acoustic panels combine murals with sound deadening — popular in restaurants, gyms, and open-plan offices.

Will It Stick to My Wall?
Almost certainly yes. We have done projects on:
- Painted brick and CMU block (textured vinyl, designed for it)
- Glossy and matte drywall
- Glass partitions and exterior storefront glass
- Curved walls, columns, and stadium concourse panels
- Stair risers, floors (with floor-rated traffic vinyl), and ceilings
We do a quick site visit before committing — surfaces with chalking paint, fresh paint that has not cured, or recurring moisture issues are the only conditions that change the install plan.
How Long Will It Last?
Indoor commercial wall graphics from Amplify typically last 7-15 years and are warranted by the vinyl manufacturer when professionally installed. Outdoor exposure, direct UV, and high-traffic abrasion shorten that range — we will spec the right film. When you are ready to refresh or remove, professionally-installed vinyl comes off cleanly without damage to the underlying wall.

Cost
A single accent wall mural can run a few thousand dollars; a full corporate office build-out with multiple walls, dimensional elements, and gallery storytelling scales up from there. The biggest cost drivers are square footage, surface complexity, and dimensional add-ons. Free estimates after a brief site visit. We will tell you what is realistic at your budget and where to spend money for the highest visual return.

Wallpaper vs. Custom Wall Mural — Which Is Right for You?
Commercial wallpaper is a finish material — repeating pattern, applied paste-up, harder to remove cleanly. A custom wall mural from Amplify is printed-to-specification on commercial vinyl, applied by professional installers, removable, and fully custom in image, scale, and finish. For tenant spaces, frequent rebrands, or anywhere you want a specific image (not a pattern), wall mural is almost always the right call.
